Why we're Green
After enrolling in The City of Carlsbad Green Business Program, we have completed recommendations on how Viasat Carlsbad can operate more sustainably. One of them being to continue to implement best management practices such as water efficient infrastructure. We have recently replaced all building E1 restroom faucets from 1 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) aerators to 0.5 GPM aerators to help reduce our water usage and conserve water resources. Sustainability initiatives like this one not only reduced cost but reduced resource consumption.
