Crystal Creamery has two major plant operations with a wide range of capabilities. Each of our plants has unique qualities, which compliment each other. Our Modesto plant is a high volume, high efficiency facility and our second plant in Fernbridge is a smaller, nimble facility located in the Northern California Coast.

Why we're Green
Some of the dairy company’s milestones include:
• The installation of a 1.1 MW solar panel system to reduce energy demand
• Recycling more than 97% of the company's waste
• Replacing all lighting with energy-efficient LED lights
• Installation of energy-efficient equipment and use of electric forklifts and pallet jacks to reduce energy needs during peak periods
• Implemented extra practices to reduce and reuse water in response to California's ongoing drought
In the past year alone, the company's efforts have saved:
• 56,343 lbs. of CO2 (the equivalent of planting 87 acres of urban trees)
• 4,357 therms of natural gas (the equivalent of heating 167 homes for an entire year)
• 12,377 kilowatt hours of energy
• 29,110 gallons of water
