The Sea Center is a facility of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Located on historic Stearns Wharf, the Sea Center introduces visitors to the rich diversity of Marine life in the Santa Barbara Channel. With Hands on Exhibits visitors can interact with local marine life and discover the wonders of the Santa Barbara Channel.

Sustainability is more than a buzz word at the Sea Center. We are incorporating sustainability and environmentally friendly practices on an ongoing basis, into every aspect of our organization. In fact, the Sea Center was the first Museum in our county to be a Certified Green Business.
