As an equine ambulatory practice, Starwood takes steps to reduce our daily waste. All invoicing is done electronically to reduce significant paper waste. Electronic payments are accepted and encouraged to reduce mail waste and energy needs of delivery. All allowable wrapping for medical supplies is recycled (syringe casings, sterile paper wrap, etc.), shipping materials are reused or recycled. A smaller vehicle was purchased to encourage better gas mileage.
